Inter-House Indian Music Competition
Melody dipped tunes can paint the canvas of everybody’s life with variegated existence. The strokes of the painter needs to turn and twist as per the maze of melodious contours. The same thought was expressed in the premises of The Lucknow Public Collegiate, Jopling Road with the Inter-House Indian Music Competition organised on 6th September 2025 . Flurry of talents emerged from this musical wonderland as the Competition was to be judged for solo and group singing. The notes were perfect, themes encompassing Indian sights and sounds scattering an aroma of nativity. The varied components of music like rhythm, tune, pitch etc was to be tested.
Solo and the group performances on different musical numbers kept the tempo of the programme high, spirits enchanted and character dignified. The reverberation brought with it the tunes of melancholy, happiness, hope, optimism, patriotism, childhood, young age, festivals, seasons and more. One tune became prominent and that was the tune of victory and diligency with the announcement of Ruby House with 83 points as winner in group singing category. Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire with 75 points became the favourite winning tune of everyone in solo category.
The Director of the Collegiate Dr. Jawaid Alam Khan applauded the participants for inculcating interest in music.
