Chasing Dreams: Organisation of Annual Marathon at TheLucknow Public Collegiate, Jopling Road

Running with an aim to spread the feeling of solidarity, peace and harmony, The Lucknow Public Collegiate, Jopling Road successfully
organised Annual Marathon 2025 on 5 th November for the parents, students, ex- students and senior citizens. Categorizing the participants under different age groups for their running, it was a race for showcasing their will power and stamina. Each step raised to get to the finishing line was counted.

The solidarity to run for purpose was visible. The race was symbolic of the hardships of life where one has to keep running. The students were grouped under different categories like under fifteen years, under thirteen years, under eleven years, under nine years and open category males and females. Boys and girls finishing five kilometers and three kilometers respectively turned this race into a race of joy and wonder. The participants were tested for their strength, speed, discipline, confidence and positive attitude. The students and the parents ran to give this saga of athleticism an interesting turn. The brilliant show of the runners was graced by the Joint Director Ma’am Fareha Khan and the Principal Mr. Rajiv Gupta. Check posts were illuminated with the staff members standing to cheer up the enthusiastic runners with the feeling of athleticism in their hearts.

The entire route could witness the vigilant volunteers alert for any kind of emergency. The marathon concluded with the declaration of the winners in every category. Ruby House with 170 points secured first position, Amber House with 156 points secured second position and Sapphire House with 119 points secured third position.
