An ambience of inquisitiveness was lurking in the eyes of the students of The Lucknow Public Collegiate, Jopling Road as an Inter-House Sports and Current Affairs Quiz Competition was organized on 18 th April, 2026 to navigate their intellectual territory. As the buzzers kept ringing and applause reverberating Sapphire house and Emerald House stole the limelight by being declared as the
winner of junior and senior section respectively. The participants enhanced their astuteness in varied fields like sports and Current Affairs by becoming a perfect quiz master, wizards of books and encyclopaedias who can answer any sharp and typical questionnaire. Leaving the domain of textbooks and classroom the students sharpened their intellectual prowess on sharp anvil of acumen. Varied rounds like audio- visual round, rapid fire round, multiple choice questions etc. laid before the participants a plethora of topics to delve into.
The Joint Director Ma’am Fareha Khan embraced the budding competitors with comments of appreciation. The Principal Mr. Rajiv Gupta instilled in them the love of reading books beyond syllabus and to be aware of their surroundings to widen their horizon of knowledge. The activity aimed to reflect the competitive spirit of the enthusiastic students.
