The premises of The Lucknow Public Collegiate, Jopling Road was reverberating with the enthusiastic choirs and the oaths of the leaders with the organisation of the Inter-House Speech Choir Competition and Investiture Ceremony 2025-26 on 18 th August 2025. The day was a witness to responsibility, sincerity and duty as the young Captains, Vice-Captains, Prefects set off for a destination which will be a test
of their mettle. Being synonymous with the spirit of the soldier, they took an oath to carry forward the legacy of their Collegiate to its zenith. Salutes were heard, commitments made, oaths were administered and the tunes played. Felicitation of the meritorious students was a relishing feast for those who work diligently for the entire session. Nivesh Maheshwari, Sudiksha and Shrishti Sharma were the
recipient of the prestigious scholarship, an initiative to nurture the young academicians. That was an added bonanza.
Getting swayed by the highly charged eloquent choruses depicting the varied perspectives of literature became a living testimony of the power of actions. The continuous hum of an equipment, the sweet tunes of nature, the conception of this world and the memories of pals enthralled the judges. Their voice modulation, presentation, pronounciation and delivery was to be tested. As the choruses echoed the premises, the newly appointed office bearers walked proudly with immense pride and a demeanour which was reflecting their ideal “ Success through Labour”.
Zeeshan Anwar as Boys’ College Captain and Ishika Ratn as Girls’ College Captain took the reins of the collegiate. Future citizens of India as the inductees of the cabinet showed vigour to cover those miles that could be considered as the milestones of a students’ life like honesty, diligency, punctuality, patience to name a few. Being synonymous with the soldiers of the country full of commitment upholding
the flag, with badges on their chest they would be nurturing the ideals of the Prefectorial Board of the Collegiate.
Sapphire House spread a wave of jubiliation as they were judged as the best choir and their piece “Equipment” as an artistic creation.
